<h2>Take Charge of Your Health: A Workshop for People with HIV</h2>
<h3><em>When it comes to HIV, knowledge is power!</em></h3>
<h3>This two-hour webinar will focus on how HIV drug resistance develops and how to read lab results. </h3>
<h3>The first section of this webinar will discuss how HIV can develop resistance to HIV meds and describe steps that can be taken to avoid it. The second section will help participants understand how to interpret lab reports and discuss them with care providers.</h3>
<h3>All information is presented in jargon-free, easy to understand language.&nbsp; We dig deep into topics, to make sure that everyone comes away with a clear grasp of everything presented.</h3>
<h3>As a result of this training, people will be able to:</h3>

<h3>Define drug resistance</h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3>Define mutation and how it can lead to resistance</h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3>Explain wild type and mutant virus</h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3>Describe peak and trough levels and what happens when a dose is missed</h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3>Describe genotype and phenotype testing</h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3>Describe parts of a sample lab report</h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3>Identify common blood tests: RBC, WBC, platelets</h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3>Define the difference between CD4 count and CD4%</h3>
</li>
<li>
<h3>Identify tips for getting consistent lab tests</h3>
