DATE:April 24th, 2025LOCATION:TABOR 100 – Sound Transit Room7100 Fort Dent Way, Suite 100, Tukwila WA 98188TIME:8:30AM - 12:00PM Information Provided:<ul><li>Small Works Roster (SWR) &amp; Muncipal Research and Services Center (MRSC) - Learn about the Small Works Roster and how to join the list.</li><li>Office of Minority &amp; Women's Business Enterprises (OMWBE) Certification – Learn how to get certified as a DBE or SBE, and new PWSBE certification.</li><li>Job Order Contracts (JOC) - Learn about Job Order Contracts and how contractors are selected for a JOC project.</li><li>Capital Delivery Projects – Learn about upcoming projects &amp; contracting opportunities.</li><li>JOC Prime Contractors – Hear from a few prime contractors on JOC projects and their experience as well as how to become a subcontractor on JOC projects.</li></ul> OVERVIEW OF EVENT:8:30am - 9:00am - Doors open/Check-In9:00am - 11:20am - Program and presentations11:20am - 12:00pm - Open networking/MatchmakingOpen networking opportunities with JOC prime contractors; and learn about resources, training, programs, and assistance offered by the OMWBE, MRSC, and Sound Transit.
