If I just learned to play can I sign up?

Yes! This is a great event for anyone who has just learned to play mahjong or canasta and wants to continue to develop confidence and practice play. Emily and Bev will provided Q&A and supervised play at tables. Sign up for a beginner table.

What if I don't know how to play but want to learn?

We would love to teach you, but this event is not a beginner lesson. Visit our website www.canastaconnection.com or send us an email at thecanastaconnection@gmail.com to inquire and let us know of your interest.

Question 3

Should I bring my 2024 card? What if the 2025 card has arrived?

Accepted Answer

It's possible some people will just be receiving the 2025  mahjong card at the time of this event. We recommend bringing both cards with you, and if we have enough people with the 2025 card you are welcome to use that card.

Question 4

Can I request who I sit with?

Accepted Answer

For this event, we will designate tables by level, but we won't assign you to a specific table. Please sit at one of the tables with your level and game of choice. If you would like to sit with friends you may do so, first come first serve.
