Formed in 2020 as a merger between Oratorio Chorale and Portland Bach Experience, Classical Uprising is a 501(c)3 nonprofit committed to community development, creative expression, inclusivity, lifelong learning, and artistic excellence.

Classical Uprising presents its 2024-2025 including performances by Oratorio Chorale, Horizon Voices and the Portland Bach Experience!

Celebrate the beginning of summer with J.S. Bach’s heartwarming “Wedding Cantata” BWV 202, rapturous Harpsichord Concerto BWV1054, and joyous Brandenburg Concerto No. 4. Find out why musicians, musicologists, and NPR consider Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos “as powerful to me as any rock ‘n’ roll song, as energizing as any techno dance music, as driving and thrilling as any punk or heavy metal” (All Things Considered). Includes pre-concert lecture with “Brandenburg Concertos: The Baroque Jam Band.”SCHEDULE<ul><li>4:00 p.m. – Doors open</li><li>4:15 p.m. – Pre-concert lecture</li><li>5:00 p.m. – Concert</li></ul> TICKETS<ul><li>Adults: $35 in advance, $40 at the door</li><li>Students: $15 in advance, $20 at the door</li><li>Under 2: Free</li></ul>
