About The Barber of SevilleDetermined to win the heart of the beautiful Rosina, Count Almaviva enlists the help of Figaro, the barber of Seville, to steal her away from her guardian, Dr. Bartolo. This opera features some of opera's most delightful music and one of the most beloved comedic works.

Tips for an enjoyable visit:PLEASE BRING YOUR LAWN CHAIR TO ENSURE A COMFORTABLE SEAT.The Bay park address is 1055 Blvd of the Arts, Sarasota, FL 34236.Free public parking is located along Blvd of the Arts, Van Wezel Way, in front of the Van Wezel, and in front of the Blue Pagoda (655 N Tamiami Trl, Sarasota). Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.Keep pets on a leash.In the event of inclement weather, this event will be CANCELLED. Cancellations will be posted on Facebook, Eventbrite and on The Bay website approximately an hour before start time as the weather changes quickly.
