Local vendors, artists, creators, and bakers are invited to showcase their crafts at the 12th South Makers' Market located at 1204 Elmwood Ave. This is a reoccuring event every first Saturday of the month. Bring the family and pets to enjoy all 12th South has to offer, including handcrafted pieces you won't find anywhere else!


The Makers’ Market rules are in place to ensure the success and safety of the market, employees, vendors, and guests, and of course, to protect the assets of Big Plan Holdings, LLC. These rules are periodically reviewed and updated as needed. All vendors are required to provide Big Plan Holdings, LLC. with a signed copy of the agreement to document receipt and understanding, as well as a Certificate of Liability/Insurance.


General Makers’ Market Rules & Guidelines

A. No partnership with Big Plan Holdings, LLC. or Maker’s Market - It is specifically agreed and understood that nothing in this agreement shall in any way create a partnership or joint venture between Big Plan Holdings LLC.’s Makers’ Market and the vendor.

B. Property & Liability – The Makers’ Market and Big Plan Holdings, LLC. are not responsible for any vendor’s property, liability arising out of negligent acts on behalf of vendor or their employees, or any injuries sustained by vendors or their employees. Vendor should provide adequate insurance to cover property and liability. Vendor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Big Plan Holdings, LLC.’s Makers’ Market and its employees, officers, and agents from all claims for damage arising out of actions of vendor directly or indirectly.

C. Americans with Disabilities Act – People with disabilities represent a significant portion of the population and are equally reflected in the number of guests attending the Makers’ Market. Ensuring equal participation by all guests is important and beneficial to vendors, businesses, and Big Plan Holdings, LLC. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines an “individual with a disability” as a person who has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more, major life activities, who has a record of such impairment, or who is regarded as such.

1. An individual with a disability may be asked to remove a service animal from the premises if either the animal is out of control and the animal’s handler does not take effective action to control it; or the animal is not housebroken.

2. Big Plan Holdings, LLC.’s Makers’ Market is not responsible for the care or supervision of a service animal.

3. Big Plan Holdings, LLC’s Makers’ Market shall not ask about the nature or extent of a person’s disability or require documentation.

D. Booth Rental Information – Booth rental can be reserved through our Eventbrite link posted on our website each month. The fee is $50 excluding tax for the 8x10 parking spaces. The vendor understands that booth purchases are NON-refundable. Big Plan Holdings, LLC. [“Makers’ Market] reserves the right to cancel an event due to inclement weather and agrees to rollover the rental to the next month's market. Please be prepared to bring your own tent, tables, displays, etc. Electricity is not provided by the Makers’ Market.

E. Access and Booth Set-Up – Vendors will not be given access to the Makers’ Market area until 9:00 am CST on the day of the market. Vendors must be set-up by 11:00 am CST, or the space may be forfeited and/or resigned without notification. Vendors must unload merchandise and immediately move vehicles and trailers to the designated parking area, or street parking. Merchandise, tables, chairs, etc. must stay within the boundaries of the assigned booth.

F. Protection of Makers’ Market Property – Makers’ Market, Big Plan Holdings, or any personnel associated assume any responsibility for a vendor’s property. In the event of an emergency, dial 911. A representative of Makers’ Market will also be on-site to monitor and assist with any medical emergencies.

G. General Rules -

1. No signs, banners, or advertising material may be placed on the buildings, walls, windows, or doors.

2. Use of tape, adhesive, nails, screws, or related items may not be used on walls, doors, windows, floors, or any other building surface.

3. Hanging of merchandise or other items from fencing, downspouts, gutters, columns, cross bracing, ceilings, beams, or metal wall panels is prohibited.

4. Open flame heaters are prohibited. Heaters may only be on the ground to minimize instability and the potential of being knocked over. Heaters must be unplugged when not in use and must be monitored while in operation.

5. Staking tents or other structures is prohibited. Tents may be secured with sandbags, water barrels, concrete blocks, or by similar method.

6. There are no overnight hours, and no one is permitted to be on the premises past 5:00 pm CST the day of the market.

Your purchase of a Monthly Vendor Booth and/or Vendor Booth Season Pass serves as your official acknowledgement, acceptance, and agreeance to the terms and conditions outlined above.
