12th Annual Symposium on Women in Leadership and Ministry (WILAM): Listen for God's Peace in the City
What is the role of listening in creating peace in our city? How can we as women take care to truly hear each other—and how are we empowered when we are heard?
Join us for our 12th Annual Symposium on Women in Leadership and Ministry as we come together to grow as listeners. We will learn from the example of women in the Bible on how to listen well, and we will engage one another in practices and collaboration. The day features sessions including:
Listening to God ... led by Susan Carpenter and Toyin Omolola
Listening to Others ... led by Juliya Joseph James and Danielle Cummings
Listening to Self ... led by Deirdre McIntosh-Brown and Princy Prasad
Listening to the City ... led by Sarah Gerth van den Berg
Together, we will discover the meaning of this year's theme: Listening for the Peace of the City.
