This conference aims to put a spotlight on grassroots’ led efforts of creating better health and wellness for our communities and environment, including the promotion of healthy food access, community green development, and the creation of pathways to green jobs.

● Year 2035: Preparing for an equitable green economy and creating a pathway to green jobs.

● Extending philanthropy and corporate contributions to Newark-based grassroots led efforts to solve real-world problems.

● Building a network of healthy food access for a more sustainable and equitable food system. This includes our food pantries, community gardens/urban farms, grocery stories, and strong policy.

● Community green development integrates sustainable agriculture with green technology and ecological infrastructure to address social, environmental, and economic issues at the local and state level.
