April Bird Walk

Thank you for making our outdoor experiences one of the most popular outings in the DMV!All of our bird walks and trips are FREE and open to the public, except where noted to cover associated programming costs. Your generous support plays a crucial role in sustaining our programming, which includes our world-class guides. If you have binoculars, please bring them along, and we do have a limited number of spare binoculars available for use. Space can be limited, so registration is mandatory to ensure that everyone has a joyous experience in nature. See you outside!

Rock Creek Park Nature Center and Planetarium

Let's take a stroll to see what feathered friends might be lingering around the Nature Center and even the Maintenance Yard, a hotspot for warblers.We'll meet at the parking lot of the Nature Center. The lot is pretty ample but can get busy on weekends, so please give yourself plenty of time. The coordinates are 38.96011, -77.05165.FREE but registration required.Know Before You Go / What to Bring<ul><li>Comfortable, sturdy shoes for an easy hike on uneven terrain</li><li>Water and snacks</li><li>Sunscreen and bug spray</li><li>Binoculars if you have them.
