The Open Source Fellowship (OSF) supports emerging developers across neurodiverse identities, increasing their experience and skills in open-source technology and application development.

The Open Source Fellowship is a community program that equips technologists with the tools they need to thrive in a collaborative Neurodiverse Workplace, a place of innovation and thriving minds! We support emerging technologists across all neurodiverse identities, increasing their experience with open-source technology and how these technologies can benefit both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Over the next 15 months, OSF will host in-person events, launch online full-stack development courses and a professional certificate. Including a 1-year paid fellowship enabling neurodiverse technologists to contribute to open source products aimed at social impact. We are also creating a larger community of technologists and employers with a shared understanding of neurodiversity and how best to leverage its unique potential in the workplace and in solving community challenges. Agenda

What is the Open Source Fellowship and how can you get involved the program.  We will talk about why this program was created and the activities that will take place. We'll also talk about a paid fellowship for 5 people from June 2025, to June 2026.  

Introduction to the Open Source Fellowship + Q/A

We'll talk about neurodiversity in the workplace and why it’s essential for building high-performing, innovative teams. Today’s leaders, managers, staff, and entrepreneurs need to understand how their teams think and how to unlock the full potential of diverse minds to drive better outcomes. We'll also open up time for other that want to share their strategies.
