Ideas of Our Time is a lecture series at MOCA Jacksonville providing a forum for creative dialogue with artists, educators, and others around some of the most vital and important art and ideas of our time.

Hear from the local artists featured in MOCA’s Triennial Arts Exhibition during Ideas of Our Time: Jax Contemporary Artist Talks. These free events take place during first Wednesday Museum Nights in the MOCA Theater through November. Registration is not required but is recommended. Artists were invited to submit their applications in late 2024. Since then, each of the nearly 500 applications were reviewed by MOCA Senior Curator Ylva Rouse and Guest Curator Adeze Wilford and 64 artists were selected to be in the exhibition.
