<h2>Project Description</h2><h3>Swiss voile is my luxury fabric of choice for all the delicate heirloom techniques included on this project. The front and back bodices are completely embellished with twin needle pintucks and a diagonal overlay trimmed with more pintucks, satin ribbon threaded Swiss beading, and tiny pearlized buttons. The simple neckline is complemented with tiny piping   and   shaped   Swiss   edging.  The ‘not too puffy’ sleeves are embellished with sloping pintucks, Swiss beading, satin ribbon, and Swiss edging.     All   the design elements of the bodice are repeated in the full twirly skirt. The dress back is finished off with white silk organza sashes tied into a lightweight bow.  A separate sundress style slip constructed from Imperial batiste is included. Pattern sheets in sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 are included in each class kits.  This project was featured on the cover of the premier issue of Classic Sewing Magazine. </h3>

<h2>Class Experience</h2><h3>This nine hour class will be divided in three, three hour sessions each spaced one week apart to allow students time to do the required stitching ‘homework’ between sessions.  Approximately one half of each session will be teaching/demo on my end. Students will be stitching along during the remainder of the class time.  It will be an interactive format allowing students to type in questions/comments at any time.  I will be rotating between three webcams which will allow face to face, super close up, and a clear view of my sewing machine live stitching.  The first three hour session will cover the preparation of the bodice front pintuck block, bodice front overlay, pintucked bodice back, and entredeux shoulder seams.  The second session will cover the neckline finish, sleeves, and back sashes.  The third session will cover the skirt fancy band, banded hem, back skirt placket, and all remaining finish work.  Your class project kit will arrive to your home at least one week prior to the first session of the class. </h3>

<h2>Prerequisites</h2><h3>This is a high intermediate to advanced level class.  Previous heirloom construction experience is recommended.  There will be significant stitching ‘homework’ time between class sessions.</h3>

<h2>Pre-class Preparation</h2><ul><li>If you prefer, the fabric can be prewashed and pressed, but     not required (do not starch)
