Mitigate water shortages by capturing rain for watering yard and gardens at Sun River Watershed Group's Rain Barrel Workshop. Participants receive the supplies and instructions to build their own rain barrel. Join us to learn how rain barrels help conserve water, alleviate strain on municipal water supplies, and reduce nonpoint source pollution in our rivers and streams.For $45, participants will receive a barrel, hardware, instructions, paint and decorating supplies, and your choice of breakfast or lunch. Dress for MT weather and for getting dirty! Main location is the American Legion Park in Fairfield but if weather is not favorable, we will shift to the Community Hall across the street from the park.Copper Creek Coffee is partnering with us to provide food for our Rain Barrel Workshop. Please choose whether you'd like either a breakfast or lunch option with the purchasing of your ticket. The add-on food choice is free, please pick one or the other.More details about food options will be sent when you receive your confirmation email.
