曾在名導演李安的處女作「推手」一片中,擔任太極拳顧問並客串演出的太極拳大師張仲仁,曾獲得兩屆美國武術比賽太極拳冠軍，將現身說法傳授他自創的太極鬆身法以及熊衞老師所創的太極導引.

「太極導引講求鬆柔, 運用不同的旋轉及伸展將筋骨關節鬆開, 以增進全身的柔軟度及強韌性，是適合現代生活的養生運動。林懷民的雲門舞集知名之作「水月」，即是由太極導引的原理發展出來的。張仲仁是Grand Championship winner of National Tai Chi Tournament.12/06/2020 （週曰）11 AM - 12 PM$15 per person所有收入將捐給北加福智，購置Cupertino場地使用

「『拳』是用來打人的，會使人興起爭強好勝之心。但太極功法是要習者修心養性、身心放鬆，從老子《道德經》中汲取、反芻了許多思想、觀念後，熊衛決定暫時先將「拳」的框架拿掉，因而發展出「太極導引」。「若把一個盛滿水的木桶，投入大海中，沒有把木桶打破，桶內的水是無用的。唯有打開木桶的侷限，桶內的水，才能與浩瀚的大海合而為一，吸收大海遼闊無窮的能量，達到天人合一的境界。」創始人熊衛表示，「拳」就是木桶，當他把「拳」的框架去除後，就可以悠遊於中國文化的無邊大洋中。----摘自新浪新聞《心定養心太極導引》https://news.sina.com.tw/magazine/article/2800.html
