How long is the tour?

The tour lasts approximately two hours, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, covering multiple public art locations in Downtown Hartford.

Is this event family-friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the tour is suitable for all ages. However, the complimentary drink at Hartford Flavor Company is for guests 21 and older.

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Comfortable walking shoes, Weather-appropriate clothing, A camera or smartphone for photos, A water bottle if needed, sunscreen, umbrella in case of rain, and some extra money for swag and raffles.

Where can I park?

You can park for free at the LAZ Parking Lot located at 300 Market Street (the same location as the first mural stop).

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the route is designed to be accessible for all participants.  It is however a 1.5-2 mile walking loop around Downtown Hartford.

What happens if it rains?

The event will proceed in light rain, so dress accordingly. In the case of severe weather, updates will be shared via Eventbrite and email.

Do I need to stay for the entire tour?

While we encourage participants to enjoy the full tour, you are welcome to leave at any point if needed.

The tour will be led by RiseUP's Executive Director, Matt Conway along with insights from artists and community members.
