Gleaning Enza Zaden - 11/16
Rescue food, feed hungry people.
Transition Sarasota volunteers have the opportunity to provide help to harvest and donate peppers from Enza Zaden so they go to hungry people instead of to waste. As always you'll get to take home a bag of produce as thanks for volunteering.
Please STAY HOME if you are sick, experiencing symptoms, have been around anyone that is sick, or have a condition that puts you at risk.
PLEASE register each person attending separately.
VERY IMPORTANT.
- Follow ALL instructions given to you before and upon arrival to the farm, this is a research facility there are rules we MUST follow to maintain this gleaning opportunity.
- Maintaining our distance from each other (10ft), is very important. This means we advise AGAINST carpooling(unless you've isolated together) for the safety of everyone attending.
- No contact with staff on the farm.
- Please show up promptly for your window, and leave promptly when your window is finished so we can maintain smaller groups. IF there is space in the group following yours, you are welcome to stay longer.
There will be some adjustments, so if you've been there before with us please be aware things are a little different this time. Watch for the details email.
