What time should I arrive?

You should arrive at Noon in order to ensure you are a part of the circle of connection ceremony that opens the event.

What if it rains?

This is an indoor and outdoor event.  So, the event will happen rain or shine.

What should I bring?

CASH This is a rural Sea Island and credit card machines may not work.  You should have CashApp, PayPal or Zelle apps already downloaded  to your phone and attached to a payment source.  Also, bring a chair and towel.

How should I dress?

Dress in comfortable clothing especially representing Gullah/Geechee culture.

Can I drum?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  Bring your drum, tambourine and rain & stamping sticks to join in the opening drumming circle.

Can I set up a tent?

No, you cannot set up tents.  You can bring your own chair with a cover over it for the sun and sit under the trees.

Are pets allowed?

No pets are allowed.

Can I bring a cooler?

No.  Food and drinks will be on sale at the event.

No, it is a Gullah/Geechee Famlee Reunion.
