Based on Alan Martin and Jamie Hewlett's comic book series and directed by Rachel Talalay (FREDDY'S DEAD: THE FINAL NIGHTMARE), 1995's post-apocalyptic, sci-fi, action-comedy TANK GIRL is a blast from from the first frame to the last. From box office bomb to cult classic, the stylized mid-90's flick was way ahead of its' time. Plus we also get Iggy Pop as Rat Face and of course Ice-T as a genetically modified kangaroo super soldier named T-Saint.After a comet disrupts the rain cycle of Earth, the planet has become a desolate, barren desert by the year 2033. With resources scarce, Kesslee (Malcolm McDowell) -- head of the powerful and evil Water &amp; Power Corporation, the de facto government -- has taken control of the water supply. Unwilling to cower under Kesslee's tyrannical rule, a pair of outlaws known as Tank Girl (Lori Petty) and Jet Girl (Naomi Watts) rise up, joining the mysterious rebel Rippers to destroy the corrupt system.TANK GIRL also sports a wild soundtrack (assembled by Courtney Love) that includes Björk, Devo, Hole, Bush, Portishead, Joan Jett, Veruca Salt and more.Don't miss out one-night-only presentation and feel free to come dressed in your TANK GIRL best.
