The Thomas R. Brown Foundation seeks to advance the use of economic principles in public and private decision making through strategic partnerships and educational programs. Our program goal is to equip teachers to increase student exposure to fundamental principles of economics in a neutral and nonpartisan way, and to help students develop an appreciation of how economic analysis applies to everyday choices as well as business and policy issues.

<p>The multi-billion-dollar video game industry is a powerful force in the lives of your students. This program will provide you with the tools to unlock the educational potential of the video game industry. Attendees will explore the economics and personal finance concepts embedded in video games, the profitable strategies pursued by firms in the industry, and job opportunities for young people in the sector. Participants will receive lunch (via Grubub; we will take a 45-minute lunch break), digital resources, and a certificate of professional development.</p>
