I AM: Writing A Personal/Artist Statement

Crystal Tennille Irby

Sometimes the hardest thing to do is tell the world who you are. Ready to unlock the process of writing a personal statement? JOIN ME!

I love tangible tools. I love pulling back the veil and demystifying the creative process. I do this because part of the veil and mystifying when it comes to writing (or really any form of creativity) is white supremacist gatekeeping...For me creativity is what keeps us and what will carry us so it’s critical that it’s accessible. This is my FAVORITE workshop to teach because I use creativity to help people decide who they want to be, how they want others to experience them and articulate their deepest desires in cover letters, personal statements, artists statements, etc.
