What if it rains?

The event will be held rain or shine!

Are children invited?

Children are welcome and do not require a ticket under the age of 12. All children must be supervised by an adult. No strollers allowed in the homes or gardens.

Are pets invited?

Accepted Answer

Though we like our animal companions, due to potential allergies and large  crowds, they are not allowed on the Tour.

Why is it two days?

There are 15 locations and we don't want you to rush - please take your time and enjoy our lovely neighborhood! However, all the locations can be visited in one day on foot if necessary.

Question 5

Is there parking?

The tour is meant to be done on foot. There is limited on-street parking. The locations this year are easily accessible via the Union Station metro stop to the west and also the D6 bus line.

Question 6

Can I wear shoes in the homes?

None of the homes require attendees to remove their street shoes.

Are there refunds?

Accepted Answer

No refunds - we are a non-profit and all funds support Capitol Hill Restoration Society community activites.

Question 8

Are service animals allowed?

Accepted Answer

These are private homes and we cannot accommodate service animals indoors.
