International Student Mentor Information Session

The International Services Office (ISO) Support and Engagement Team is working to provide community-building events for all international students across the University of Rochester campus. In addition to our social events calendar, we also sponsor the International Students and Scholars Advisory Board, manage ISO orientations, and work to build a comprehensive professional development seminar series for international students.If you would like to contact us about any of our events, please email the ISO Support and Engagement Team at isop@rochester.edu.

This info session is for University of Rochester current students interested in becoming mentors for new international students.

ISO College Town Office, First Floor Classroom

Are you interested in becoming an International Student Mentor in the summer and fall?The International Student Mentor position will be a paid position (up to 15 hours throughout summer/fall terms) in which mentors will meet with an international student mentee throughout the fall semester and attend events and workshops as well. Training will be held in advance of the position starting. Mentors must apply before May 15.The mentorship program is a semester-long structured program which begins the month before new international students’ arrival and ends after their first semester. All incoming international students are encouraged to participate in the program as mentees, and participation is voluntary.
