Voices for Virginia's Children

Join us for an exploration of identity and conversational competence to cover topics such as race, religion, and politics. 

<p>Voices&#x27; Racial Truth &amp; Reconciliation VA invited Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities&#x27; Charm Bullard to host a Courageous Conversations Community Chat intended to jumpstart tough conversations and learning opportunities around allyship. In today&#x27;s highly-divisive social climate and hyperactive social media world, traditionally “taboo” topics such as race, religion, and politics are happening more frequently in our community. When these courageous conversations are well-facilitated and occur with civility, we lessen the risk of negatively impacting morale, engagement, and productivity. During this session, participants will explore identity and conversational competence to talk about the hard stuff at work respectfully. Tickets are limited to 75 registrants!
