The aim of these professional events is to improve the international recognition of Hungarian wines with a focus on the HoReCa sector, wine trade professionals and journalists. As part of the event series tasting events are organized all over the world to demonstrate the rich variety offered by Hungarian wine regions, to provide opportunities for participants to deepen their understanding of Hungarian wines and also to build new relationships.The event series is organized by Agricultural Marketing Centre and with their contribution the goal is to support the Hungarian agricultural sector in improving its competitiveness on the international market and also to enable it to apply up-to-date marketing tools and techniques in more efficient and productive ways.HelsinkiThe first business development event of the Hungarian Wine Business Scheme takes place in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, which is considered to be one of the major target markets among the Hungarian wine exporters. The event organized by Agricultural Marketing Centre and Embassy of Hungary in Helsinki focuses on both Hungarian wineries and wines already present on the Finnish market and those that are yet to be launched. The tasting will provide opportunity for a wide audience of wine professionals to acquaint themselves with Hungarian wines originated from different regions of the country.Due to the travel restrictions caused by the pandemic, the meeting is going to be held in a „hybrid” form: the invited guests will be participating in person, while the wineries are going to be represented via video conferencing.
