We have been providing this support since 2011, but with the current accelerated genocide in Gaza and the recent collapse of the ceasefire, the needs are greater than ever.That is why we have gathered some of the brilliant artists in our community to come together on Sunday, April 13th to share performances on the theme of the radical future they imagine, and the world we all deserve. We hope you'll join us for music, poetry, theatrical performances, and more at 2pm ET/11am PT. All funds raised from this event will support families in Gaza, and those we helped evacuate to Egypt.This event is a fundraiser to raise urgently needed funds for people undergoing an unimaginable crisis. But we want our work to be for all who dream of a liberated world, regardless of income level. We are offering a limited number of free tickets. Beyond that, tickets are available at a sliding scale. He sees all of these roles as sacred spaces to listen, love and learn more and more, day by day, how to embody healing. He believes that the foundation of working for liberation is always here and now with all our relations.Rawya El Chab is a New York City-based theater maker who excavates forgotten histories through multidisciplinary performances. Her work fuses meticulous archival research, poetic text, and innovative audiovisual elements to illuminate voices from society's margins. By examining how personal narratives both reflect and challenge dominant power structures, her performances create imaginative spaces for collective transformation.Her recent productions include "Lula 19/85 &amp; the Pearl of the Bekaa" at La Mama Theater, "The Gambler" at the Exponential Festival, "Epikoinonia" (also at Exponential), and "The Meltdown" at Rattlestick Theater's Global Forms. Rawya is currently developing "Crossing the Waters," part of her trilogy exploring leftist movements in Lebanon through a personal lens in collaboration with the Brick Theater.Fouad Dakwar is a Palestinian musical theater writer whom Playbill aptly describes as "a darkly comic pop-punk composer on the rise." His semi-autobiographical musical, 'Fouad of Nazareth,' was developed in Berklee NYC's Writing and Production for Musical Theater Master’s program and premiered at Joe’s Pub to two sold-out concert fundraisers followed by a 29-hour reading presentation in Noor Theatre’s 2024 Highlight Reading Series.Fouad is a 2024-25 Dramatist Guild Foundation Fellow, 2025 Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Grove at Goodspeed participant, and proud member of the Joe's Pub Council.Nabra Nelson is a community organizer and theater creator from Egypt, Nubia, and California. As a playwright, director, dramaturg, consultant, administrator, and teaching artist, she works with theaters, universities, and community organizations across the nation to strengthen community and amplify under-heard voices. She is a founding company member and grant writer for the Seattle-based MENA theater company, Dunya Productions, a founding company member of the Milwaukee-based womxn-of-color performance troupe Heard Space Arts Collective, leads the Nubian Foundation for Preserving a Cultural Heritage, and is the co-host of the Kunafa &amp; Shay Theater Podcast (produced by HowlRound Theatre Commons). She is a professional EDI consultant with Avent Diversity Consulting, Producer with Collaborative Artists Bloc, Teaching Artist with the Unusual Suspects Theatre Company, and Dancer with Dancing Earth. As an independent scholar, she has been published by Routledge, Bloomsbury, the Pedagogy and Theatre of the Oppressed Journal, and The Gemsbok. Her plays have been produced and developed in Seattle, Milwaukee, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and Minneapolis. She is a Dramatists Guild’s 2024-25 National Playwriting Fellow and a member of the Playwright Circle @ Speranza Theatre Company.George Abud is a proud Arab-American actor, playwright and director. He is the founder of the Arab-American Theatre Coalition, a new group meant to bring together and advocate on behalf of Arab and Arab-American artists working in the entertainment industry. As playwright, his new play The Ruins will make its world premiere at the Guthrie Theater in fall of 2025, directed by Osh Ashruf. As actor, George will next be seen on-screen in the new crime-thriller Caught Stealing directed by Darren Aronofsky, starring Austin Butler &amp; Zoë Kravitz. On Broadway, he starred as Marinetti in Lempicka directed by Rachel Chavkin; also, The Band’s Visit starring Katrina Lenk &amp; Tony Shalhoub (Daytime Emmy Award); The Visit starring Chita Rivera &amp; Roger Rees. He was nominated for Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical for his role as Nerd Face in Emojiland at the Duke on 42nd Street. He always cherishes every moment to be within the Arab-American artistic community and is honored to be part of this.Tony Enos is a celebrated multi-racial musician and two-time Native American Music Award Nominee. Enos, who recently released his sixth studio album “Indestructible,” has a dynamic 17-year career as a singer, songwriter, producer, actor, entertainer, activist, and writer.A Kennedy Center performer, Enos debuted in the 2015 production of “Trail of Tears” at New York’s Nuyorican Poets Cafe and appeared on Broadway in “Ajijaak on Turtle Island.”Hailing from Philadelphia, Enos promotes love, unity, and awareness, empowering the human spirit through music and storytelling.Alida Holguín Wilson-Gunn is Producing and Artistic Associate with Teatro Dignidad, and Artistic and Producing Director of BlackTop Gunn Theatrics: Teatro de la Calle (Teatro de la Calle). She is a Latinx theater artist who creates, directs, conductus workshops, and facilitates platforms for new work with Teatro Dignidad (TD) and her new Chicana-forward theater company, Teatro de la Calle. Recently with TD, she co-produced 2 Nogales by Mexican playwright Hugo Salcedo and directed Elaine Romer’s El Tiradito. Both new plays reflect the past and present experiences of individuals living on, in and around our southern border. With Teatro de la Calle, she directed her version of Pastorela del Pueblo with plans for a second version soon. Gunn appeared as an actress in the film, The Wall, onstage with Invisible Theater’s Gloria, directed The Hall of Final Ruin with Something Something Theatre, and appeared in the TCG recognized, The Mermaid Hour with Borderlands Theater. She was Teatro Milagro’s Associate Artistic Director of Touring and Education and Borderlands Theaters’ Education and Community Outreach Program’s Director - 7 seasons of conducting workshops/directing/devising and touring with her Coyote y Culebra Youth Project.Leila Buck is a Lebanese American writer, performer, facilitator and educator who has performed and led workshops with students, educators, aid workers, community organizers and UN delegates across the U.S., Europe, China, Australia and 11 Arab countries. Ty creates work with rural communities, broadway productions, and in the metaverse, fostering relations for indigenous and decolonial futures. A professor of practice at ASU and Writer-in-Residence at PACE. Considers himself a shape-shifter, bending in and out of artistic forms to vanguard against a westernized binary system and celebrating the celestial force of rainbows. ty loves the color clear and mood rings.Rebecca Vineyard (she/her) is an interdisciplinary performing artist and writer of Palestinian descent. She is based in Brooklyn/ Lenapehoking, and makes work that explores difficult and “taboo” topics. Rebecca has participated in Undiscovered Countries' Blast Off! lab twice, been a Fresh Ground Pepper BRB Artist, and regularly performs with Undiscovered Countries and Paper Kraine. She formerly served as literary manager for Crashbox Theater Company, helping playwrights develop new work. BFA NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Atlantic Acting School; @rebeccahenna on social media.Laced with R&amp;B, Jazz, and Reggae, indigenously rooted Polynesian singer and songwriter, Po Leapai, consistently delivers an undercurrent of Soul and Island Vibes in P.O. Po's music is a mesmerizing fusion of soulful melodies, reggae rhythms, and funky grooves that create an unforgettable musical experience that gets people dancing, celebrates diversity, unity, and the power of music.Dave Randall is a musician and writer. He has toured the world playing guitar with Faithless, Sinead O'Connor, Dido and many others. He is also the author of 'Sound System: The Political Power of Music'.Clarissa Bitar is an accomplished Palestinian oud musician and composer hailing from Los Angeles, California. With a background in Music and a specialization in Ethnomusicology from UC Santa Barbara, Clarissa's musical journey has been enriched by training under esteemed Arab oudists such as Simon Shaheen, Charbel Rouhana, and Bassam Saba. Their performances have graced stages across the United States and internationally. Innovative in their approach, Clarissa seamlessly blends the traditional sound of the oud with various genres including R&amp;B, Pop, Hip Hop, and Rap. Their latest album <a href="https://music.apple.com/us/album/hassan-sabi/1580243363" title="https://music.apple.com/us/album/hassan-sabi/1580243363" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">'Hassan Sabi'</a>, showcases their versatility and creativity, available for streaming on all major platforms. Clarissa's music has garnered attention across diverse mediums including Netflix, radio, film, and international exhibits, reflecting the universal appeal and impact of their artistry.
