Sister Societies are organized at the local level by volunteers devoted to amplifying the cause of the Global Women’s Leadership Network. Events focus on professional and community growth, helping women advance their careers, and strengthening the credit union movement.

Tell me more about the Georgia Sister Society.

Established in 2022 by Amy Fuller, Laura King, Merry Pateuk, Renee Sattiewhite and Debbie Smith, the Georgia Sister Society brings together current and future female leaders to focus on mentorship and empowerment through networking and educational opportunities.

Why do I see so much pink?

The “pink” ‘campaign was developed in 2010 by a former credit union CEO who wanted to demonstrate his support of the work to advance women in leadership. Members and Sister Societies contribute by purchasing pink items for meetings and events. The color is motivating, fun, and positively contagious!
