What should I bring with me?

Bring a notebook(note taking handout will be available as well), water bottle, and weather-appropriate gear(hats and long sleeve shirt) for outdoor sessions. Bring a map of your property. Contact us if you need assistance making a map.

Locally sourced Breakfast and Lunch will be provided all 3 days.

What is regenerative agriculture, and why does it matter?

Regenerative agriculture is the production of food and fiber that restores soil health, boosts biodiversity, and creates resilient food systems that financially support those who raise and grow our food.

The in's and out's of Grazing Planning, Financial Planning, Land Planning, and Ecological Monitoring.

Will there be hands-on activities or demonstrations?

Yes, we will spend the majority of our time in the field with hands on experience with the tools needed to properly monitor the ground.

It’s for all levels—newbies and producers alike.

What’s the recommended attire?

Depending on weather, wear comfortable clothes and sturdy outdoor shoes, field walks will be on varied terrain, both irrigated and rangeland.

Will there be Wi-Fi or cell service at the venue?

Cell service is available, however, you will be asked to silence you cell phone for the duration of the teaching session.

Are kids welcome, or is this adults-only?

Teenagers and older are welcome.

What happens if it rains?

We’ll move indoors. Half of the course curriculum will take place indoors, the other half is planned for being outside.

You will receive 2 books: "Holistic Management: A Common Sense Revolution to Restore our Environment" & "Holistic Management Handbook, Third Edition: Regenerating Your Land and Growing Your Profits" and grazing planning charts, worksheets, and other printed material.

How can I stay involved with regenerative agriculture after the event?

We will hold an informal survey at the end of the event to gauge the interest in the creation of a group to hold periodic meetups or virtual meetings.
