This training will assist early learning professionals in helping families with children who have experienced trauma. Discussion and group activities are focused on identifing behaviors of children in trauma, understanding the effects of trauma, and helping families cope by validating childrens' feelings and helping them express their feelings.This course meets Ohio state requirements (3 Ohio approved hours) for Early Learning Educators.Hanna Perkins Center is a leading provider of Ohio-approved social-emotional training for educators, child care workers and others who work with children on a day-to-day basis.
