Interested in learning machine embroidery? It can be an intimidating craft with a steep investment, but have no fear! In this course, you will learn the basics of machine embroidery and apply them to stitch out a monogrammed hand towel.
Course Basics Includes (But aren't limited to):
-Reading and understanding digital designs
-Stabilizers and when to use which kind
-Threading machines and loading bobbins
-Running embroidery designs & troubleshooting common errors
Already familiar with machine embroidery? This class is also a safe space to ask any questions you may have or gain useful tips on more complex designs or projects.
Required Supplies You Should Bring to Class
Notebook or Laptop (for note-taking)
All materials will be provided.
Class is open to ages 16 and up; however, minors must be accompanied by an adult who has also purchased a ticket for the class.

About the Instructor
Kathryn Bost is a Charlotte, NC native who picked up machine embroidery working at a local embroidery studio and now runs her own small embroidery business. Working with leading professionals in the field of machine embroidery, she has extensive knowledge of not only running multiple machine brands, but also digitizing custom designs. Kathryn understands that machine embroidery can be an intimidating craft to begin, but with her simple tips and tricks, you'll be running your own designs in no time!

Refund Policy:
- Transfers to another class follow the same refund rules as your original date.
- 14+ days before the first class: Full refund.
- 7–13 days before the first class: Refund minus a 50% administrative fee.
- Fewer than 7 days before the first class: No refunds.
- Seat transfer: If you find a replacement who pays for and takes your seat before the first class begins, you are eligible for a full refund.
