Is this event accessible for everyone?

My herbs walks are gentle and we don't walk a long distance because there are so many plants to meet along the way. However the path is rutted and not suitable for wheelchairs buggies. Children are most welcome, although I'd say it isn't suitable very young children. Children under 14 free.

Question 2

Will the walk go ahead if it rains?

Accepted Answer

The forecast is looking good for a dry day. If that changes, I'll go ahead in light rain, but if it's very heavy I may reschedule. Make sure I have correct contact details for you in case.

What should I bring?

Accepted Answer

Weather in Santa Cruz can be variable so layers are a good idea. We'll be sticking to the path so you don't need hiking boots, but sturdy footwear is a good idea as it may be a little muddy. Bring water and if it's sunny a hat is a good idea. Bring a phone/camera to catch some shots of the plants.

Can my dog come?

Pogonip is dog-friendly. We will be stopping frequently which can be frustrating to some pups.
