CampLauncher provides camp scholarship (“camperships”) to children and young adults with high-cognitive autism spectrum diagnoses (ASD) and related social communication profiles. Our partner camps help participants reach their potential by imparting critical social and life skills, facilitating independence and self-confidence, and forging deep and lasting relationships.

The "Why and How" to build and implement structures in your home that foster the development of resilience and independence in your child.

<p>These days, kids are at home more than ever and parents and caregivers are being forced to manage complicated schedules and multiple demands in an already stressful time . In this workshop, long-time camp directors and professionals Debbie Sasson, PsyD; Elise Wulff, MEd; and Eric Session, MEd, will discuss the often challenging practice of balancing the need to set limits with children while also maintaining tranquility in your home.  </p><p>We will try to answer the age-old question of "is it worth it"?  We will also cover the use of practical tools you may choose to implement to help your child understand, manage, and respond to the limits so that everyone can be more successful sharing space. Recommendations will have a strong emphasis on the use of visual tools, expectations and routines, and motivational techniques that foster independence as well as some more global suggestions.</p>
