Black Warrior Riverkeeper’s mission is to protect and restore the Black Warrior River and its tributaries. We are a citizen-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting clean water for the sake of public health, recreation, and wildlife habitat throughout our patrol area, the Black Warrior River watershed.

Black Warrior Riverkeeper is teaming up with West End Community Church to clean up part of our watershed!

Join us for a day of service on Saturday, March 15th, 2025.Meeting point: WE Gardens, Corner of 1200 McMillon Ave/12th St SWWhat we encourage volunteers to wear/bring:1. Comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a little wet or dirty (preferably long pants)2. Closed-toed shoes3. Water4. Sun protection (hats, sunglasses, sunscreen)What we will provide:1. Garbage bags2. Gloves &amp; Litter Pickers
