Cafeteria Man is a documentary that follows chef Tony Geraci as he tries to improve school lunch programs in Baltimore and Memphis.

As the newly hired Food and Nutrition Director of the city's public school district, Geraci hatches an ambitious, multi-faceted plan to feed students healthy, locally-sourced meals, teach them nutritional awareness, and offer them training and vocational opportunities in the world of food. His bold vision includes a 33-acre teaching farm, school vegetable gardens, student-designed meals, and meatless Monday's.We will also be screening one of the One Earth Young Filmmakers winning films If I Could by Saron Bahre. However, for the Academy for Global Citizenship screening, we will instead be screening a different One Earth Young Filmmakers winning film Monarchs in Motion by Mason Mirabile.Stay after the film for an enlightening facilitated dialogue with relevant experts and advocates.Our Facilitator at this event will be Wendy Negron, Youth Educator.Panelists: Kara Finnegan and Lauren Smith-MacGregor, Founders of Less is More Green Consulting, LLCTanya Carrera, Masters Student in Nutrition at Dominican UniversityADA-compliant accessible venue.What's cool about this venue/host? The OEFF Festival has been hosted at our site since the beginning of the festival.
