Is there a registration fee to attend Teaching for Impact or Leading for Impact?

No, there is not a fee to attend. The training event is sponsored by the Iowa Department of Education.

Is parking available?

Parking is available north of the Iowa Events Center with entrances off 3rd Street and 5th Avenue. When entering this parking lot, please tell the attendant you are there for the Iowa Department of Education event. There will be no charge for parking.

Is lunch provided?

Accepted Answer

Yes, lunch will be provided. Your registration form will ask if you would like to eat lunch on site. You may also indicate any dietary needs or restrictions during the registration process.

Is it ok if I can only attend one day of the training?

Yes, please indicate the day(s) you plan to attend on your registration form.

Question 5

If I want to attend the Leading for Impact workshop, do I need to complete a registration for both?

Accepted Answer

No, if you plan to attend the administrator workshop, Leading for Impact, you should complete the registration for the workshop only. You do not need to register for Teaching for Impact too.

Are License Renewal credits available?

No, we are not able to provide license renewal credits.
