Black Warrior Riverkeeper’s mission is to protect and restore the Black Warrior River and its tributaries. We are a citizen-based nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting clean water for the sake of public health, recreation, and wildlife habitat throughout our patrol area, the Black Warrior River watershed.

BWRK is teaming up with the Druid City Bicycle Club and UA Forest Stewards Guild to clean up part of our watershed!

Sanders Ferry Road

Join us for a day of service on Sunday, March 2nd, 2025.Meeting point: Army Corp of Engineers entrance on Sanders Ferry RoadWhat we encourage volunteers to wear/bring:1. Comfortable clothing that you do not mind getting a little wet or dirty (preferably long pants)2. Closed-toed shoes3. Water4. Sun protection (hats, sunglasses, sunscreen)What we will provide:1. Garbage bags2. Gloves &amp; Litter Pickers
