Come celebrate with Dorothy Hindman on October 30, 2020, 8pm as her latest innova release, Blow by Blow: music for winds and percussion, hits the street! Drop in when you can, and enjoy some early tricks and treats with candid performer interviews, inside jokes, smash hits, multimedia videos, giveaways, and *live premieres* of new works created just for the event by some of today’s most exciting young composers. ALSO: Frank Capoferri has wine and big fun, Margaret Lancaster shares Magcaster Quarantini mixology, Civitasolis brings the popcorn, Heartland Marimba Quartet shows off their dance moves, Greg Watson makes a big noise, Mason Lynass keeps the furnace on tap, Logan Larson spins his tracks, and much more.Blow by Blow showcases new works for winds and percussion by one of today’s most energetic composers. A double-album, one-two punch traversing three decades of musical territory, it pulses and soars, hammers and roars – popping and crackling with harnessed energy.
