Based on Euripides’ ancient drama and Pierre Corneille’s Médée, the opera tells the harrowing tale of Medea, the betrayed sorceress whose wrath leads to an unforgettable act of vengeance.This production features a full cast and chorus, accompanied by violin, cello, and piano, evoking the powerful intensity of Cherubini’s dramatic score.
