Join a ranger to explore wonderful wildlife around Blackness Castle's coastline, help with a beach clean and make some environmental artwork

FREE EVENT 13:00 - 15:00 Age: Aimed at children aged between 8 and 12, must be accompanied by an adult. Older / younger children also welcome to attend. Grade: Easy Bring: Warm, waterproof clothing and sturdy footwear with good grips. A hat, sun cream and a drink in hot weather. Toilets: Available before or after the event next to the castle ticket office. No toilets on the walk itself. Parking: Limited parking is available at Blackness Castle. Disabled access: May not be suitable for disabled people due to rough tracks and steep steps. Please contact the Ranger Service on 0131 652 8150 or rangers@hes.scot if you have any access requirements and we will do our best to adapt the walk accordingly. Dogs: Dogs are not permitted except assistance dogs.
