Join Blue Ridge PRISM as we explore the world of invasive plants and how to control them.  Learn how to minimize their damage so that native plants, forests, and pollinators can thrive.

During our free online workshop, we will teach you how to identify and control the 13 new additions to the Virginia Invasive Plant Species List.They are:<ol><li>Chinese tallow-tree (Triadica sebifera)</li><li>Floating primrose-willow (Ludwigia peploides var. glabrescens)</li><li>Italian arum (Arum italicum)</li><li>Ravenna-grass (Tripidium ravennae)</li><li>Trifoliate orange (Citrus trifoliata)</li><li>Two-horned trapa (Trapa bispinosa var. iinumai)</li><li>Curled pondweed (Potamogeton crispus)</li><li>Fountain grass (Cenchrus purpurascens)</li><li>Incised fumewort (Corydalis incisa)</li><li>Leatherleaf mahonia (Mahonia bealei)</li><li>Sweet autumn clematis (Clematis terniflora)</li><li>Nandina aka Heavenly Bamboo (Nandina domestica)</li><li>Butterfly Bush aka orange-eye butterfly-bush (Buddleja davidii)</li></ol>In addition, we will also talk about a few of the most common invasive plants you will see in the spring, including garlic mustard and wineberry. This workshop will take place via Zoom and will include a Q&amp;A period with PRISM experts.This virtual session will be recorded. Those who register will receive access to the recording.We hope you can join us!
