A LCRR technical webinar to discuss the use of wetlands and the temporary flooding of farmlands to reduce flooding in the basin.

This webinar will provide insights into the usefulness of wetlands to reduce flooding in the basin. It will also address the predicted effectiveness of the development of additional wetlands and the flooding of agricultural and marginal lands in helping to reduce flooding. An automated tool has been developed by the study that will be highlighted that enables anyone to determine areas that may be suitable for wetland development throughout the basin.
