Sunset Paddle Robinson Preserve

We have a passion to preserve and protect our environment in Manatee County, mixed with a compassion for the well-being of our community and its visitors.  From ecological testing of our estuaries’ water quality to organizing classes for visitors, the Natural Resources Department staff take to heart their responsibilities of ensuring we are all surrounded by a safe and beautiful environment that will enhance the quality of life for all in Manatee County.

Join Naturalist Sarah for an easy sunset paddle along the salt marshes of Robinson Preserve to the mouth of the Manatee River and Tampa Bay. We will take advantage of low tide to watch the sunset from the sandbar and return under the light of the moon and stars. Program suitable for ages 16 and older who can meet the<a href="https://mymanatee.org/departments/parks___natural_resources/programs_events#kayak" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> County's minimum eligibility requirements</a>. This is an easy paddle which can be enjoyed by beginning kayakers. Participants must have their own canoe or kayak and safety gear. All participants must wear a life jacket and bring a flashlight or headlamp and whistle.Reservations are required for this FREE program.
