Women's Wellness Week at Starlight continues with Yoga + Meditation! Donation-based classes  benefit local domestic violence non-profits.

Women's Wellness Week is a series of donation-based wellness classes at Starlight Square in Central Square, Cambridge! On 10/24, join for a series of classes beginning at 9:00 a.m. (Please note: Each class has its own Eventbrite!)9:00 a.m. Vinyasa Flow with Abbie CohenJoin Abbie (RYT) for a morning vinyasa flow that is made for all bodies and all previous yoga experiences. We'll be physically distant with more than 6ft from each other on our mats, and we'll move our bodies linking breath to movement. Bring your own mat, water, and any props you enjoy for practice (blocks, straps, etc). Yoga is a practice that should be accessible to all--especially in a time of such hardship. Please dress in layers appropriate for the weather and arrive 15 minutes early for class. 9:45 a.m. MeditationAfter yoga, stay for a socially-distanced meditation during Shavasana with Zola Stephanie. You will be led through a meditation practice for all experience levels. You will leave with tools and inspiration to continue your meditation journey at home. Zola has led meditations for 5+ years. She believes meditation does not require training, money, or any special skills just practice, discipline and desire.Feel free to bring a blanket, eye-covering, block, or pillow. Please dress warmly as we will be still sitting or laying down for 10+ minutes. In support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month all proceeds from this event will benefit <a href="https://www.respondinc.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a> <a href="http://transitionhouse.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Transition House</a>, and there will be a resource table outside of the Starlight Stage led by <a href="https://www.riversidecc.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Riverside Community Care</a>.All attendees are asked to review and agree to the Starlight Square Social Contract for community safety, which can be viewed <a href="https://www.starlightsquare.org/safety" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>.
