Annual Memorial Service for the Czechoslovak Jewish Victims of Nazism

Society for the History of Czechoslovak Jews in New York organizes lectures and other events that contribute to the preservation of the unique history and culture of Czech and Slovak Jews.

The service will be led by Rabbi Norman Patz and Cantor Natasha Hirschhorn.

TIME:3 - 4:30 PM ET8 - 9:30 PM CETThe service will be led by Rabbi Norman Patz and Cantor Natasha Hirschhorn. We are honored that Milan Vrbovský, Consul General of the Slovak Republic in New York, and Arnošt Kareš, Consul General of the Czech Republic in New York, will participate. In the Memorial Program, Pavol Miller, Chairman of the Jewish Community in Bratislava will give a short presentation in which he will inform us about Jewish life in Slovakia as it is today. We are asking those who lost loved ones in 2024 to provide their names by email at <a href="mailto:shcsj.online@gmail.com" title="mailto:shcsj.online@gmail.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">shcsj.online@gmail.com</a> by March 9 for inclusion in the Memorial Book. The Memorial Service Book will be presented in real time during the Memorial Service. Both the Memorial Service Book and Memory Book will be available for download prior to the service.
