Training services will be performed by CAMS-Care for the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation. Per our grant funding, this opportunity is intended for providers who work with youth between the ages of 10-24 in some clincial capacity.THE OHIO SUICIDE PREVENTION FOUNDATION (OSPF) invites you to this 1-day role-play workshop designed to train mental and behavioral health providers in the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS)! WORKSHOP COMPONENTS: The Collaborative Assessment &amp; Management of Suicidality (CAMS) Training is an evidence-based treatment framework used to assess suicidality and specifically treat suicide risk. CAMS 3-part training provides mental &amp; behavioral health providers with essential knowledge in using the CAMS framework to collaborate with patients in the treatment of their suicidal drivers. To become CAMS-Trained, the CAMS 3-part training includes: <ol><li>A three-hour, self-paced online course: This course features a series of videos which provide an overview of the CAMS model. Completion of the online course is required prior to attending the in-person, role-play workshop. A link will be sent to you with instructions on how to access the course.</li><li>An in-person, one-day workshop: An experienced CAMS Consultant will train participants in using the CAMS framework through role-play where participants take turns acting as both counselors and patients.</li><li>Group Consultation Calls: Following the workshop, group phone calls will be held for 8 weeks, providing opportunity to discuss successes and challenges as participants implement the CAMS model. You must attend a mimium of 4 of these calls to receive the designation of CAMS-Trained. Registration includes, beverages, lunch and CEU's, if required.</li></ol>

Through a partnership between the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation and Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH), a continuing education application is currently pending to provide 7.0 credits to social workers, counselors, and psychologists.

Training is provided by a generous contribution form SAMHSA, the $40.00 fee is to cover administrative cost, including but not limited to food &amp; beverage) Registration includes, beverages, lunch and CEU's, if required. Refund requests will only be honored on or before May 23, 2025.(REGISTRATION ENDS: May 23, 2025 @ 5:00 P.M.) Registration Deadline: May 23, 2025 Registration Fee: $40.00 (The training is brought to you by a generous grant from SAMHSA, the $40 registation fees cover administrative expenses, including but not limited to, food &amp; beverage).
