Do I need to bring anything to class?

Accepted Answer

No, everything will be provided for you. However, to continue your sourdough journey at home, you may want to check out my Sourdough Shopping page on Amazon.

Question 2

Do you teach a gluten-free sourdough class?

Accepted Answer

No, but another instructor does teach gluten-free classes. This class focuses on gut-friendly sourdough techniques, which use long fermentation to make traditional bread easier to digest.

Question 3

If my spouse or teenager wants to attend with me, do we need two tickets?

Accepted Answer

No! If you choose to share a ticket, you will be working together at one station. This means you will receive:
✔️ One sourdough starter to take home
✔️ One bread loaf mixture to complete at home

If each person wants their own materials and hands-on experience, please purchase separate tickets.

Question 4

Are children welcome?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If your child is mature enough to participate without disruption, they are welcome to attend with you. Seating is limited, so please limit shared tickets to one additional person per station.

Question 5

Why does the ticket show $40 but I’m being charged more?

Accepted Answer

The extra charge covers Eventbrite’s processing fees. Unfortunately, I am unable to absorb these fees at this time.

Question 6

Can I pay at the door?

Accepted Answer

No, advance payment through Eventbrite is required to ensure we have enough materials for everyone. Walk-ins and last-minute registrations are not allowed.

Question 7

Do I need to buy anything else?

Accepted Answer

Everything needed for the class is provided. However, I will have wide-mouth, quart-size jars w/ wooden lids available for purchase for those who need storage jars for their sourdough starter at home. These will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and you may want to bring cash.

Question 8

What if I cannot attend after I purchased my ticket?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, there are no refunds for this event. However, you may transfer your ticket to a friend. It is up to you to gift or sell your ticket to someone else.

Do you teach private Sourdough classes?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! I will teach any size group. Send me an email and let's chat about what you have in mind.
