Joan Brody's success in raising funds comes from working for almost 30 years with government agencies where she developed and coordinated strategies to bring in over $300 million in public funding for the Cities of New York, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles. As a consultant, Ms. Brody has helped small and large jurisdictions access private funding through corporate and foundation giving programs. Ms. Brody also specializes in working with police departments to set up police foundations, a non-profit organization to fund innovative police programs that otherwise would not be funded in the regular police budget.
