Wine FORWARD - Virtual Wine Tasting & Ribbon Cutting

Founded in 2014 FORWARD works to address the critical shortage of affordable housing on Cape Cod. Our mission is to build new homes where Cape Codders with disabilities can thrive in a safe and supportive environment. In 2020 we opened FORWARD at the Rock Phase I, two group homes in Dennis for 8 adults with developmental disabilities, staffed 24/7 by Cape Abilities. We’re currently developing PHASE II – 8 new 1-bedroom apartments for adults who don’t require 24/7 care, but do still need significant supports, services, and health and safety monitoring and response, as well as homes that are truly accessible and barrier free.

FORWARD

Virtual ribbon-cutting celebration & wine tasting led by Truro Vineyards to support Friends Or Relatives With Autism & Related Disabilities.

Join us for a virtual wine tasting and ribbon-cutting to celebrate the opening of FORWARD at the Rock, a newly constructed affordable and supportive home for 8 Cape Codders with autism. Your ticket includes 3 bottles of Truro Vineyards wine, a tasting led by a Truro Winemaker, 2 wine glasses, a corkscrew and 1 complimentary raffle ticket for valuable prizes including wine refrigerators, lots of wine, and more. Proceeds go to support FORWARD's efforts to build desperately needed housing for those with Autism and Related Disabilities and to support the dedicated staff who serve them.
