What supplies will I need?

We'll provide a supply list when you register to include paper plates, cup/water, Tempura paint (around $15-20 online or at a craft store), drawing paper, painter's tape, pack of brushes, and a wall/space where you can hang about 3x5 pieces of 8x10 paper up and a computer hooked to Zoom.

Are you sure I can do this with no painting skills?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Lisa started doing this at Paula's instruction with 0 ability in painting. She was shocked at the results. You will know what to do because we'll help you learn to follow what the painting wants! Just sit back, listen and discover! (Being less skilled might actually help--less to unlearn.)

What if I have to leave early?

Great! As long as your painting is okay with that! :)

How much will you interact with me?

Accepted Answer

Not a whole ton, because we don't want to interfere with your process. That said, if you get stuck we will offer gentle prompts to try to help you along so you can get back in touch with your painting and what it wants.

What if I don't want anyone to see my painting?

Accepted Answer

Great! Turn off your camera! We don't mind. What the painting wants, the painting gets!

Will I have to show my painting to other people?

Only if that's what the painting wants.

What if I can't afford it?

Sign up anyway! This is a donation-based event so that money won't be a barrier to anyone.

Can I do this with friends?

Why not? If you have space and enough wall, go ahead!
