The first Design Your World Mini-Series: Home Edition is an engaging virtual event for 7th and 8th grade girls to promote their interest in science, technology, engineer and math (STEM) fields. Join us for hands on engineering activities led by female industry professionals! When? Sunday, October 25, 2020 at 10 am - 11:30 amWhat? Build and learn the science of lava lamps and see if you can withstand the hurricane challenge. Get on the leaderboard and you could win a prize!Where? Virtual on ZoomThe Event Day Schedule: 10:00 - 10:15 am Opening Ceremony10:15 - 10:35 am Building a Lava Lamp*10:35 - 10:55 am Break10:55 - 11:15 am Hurricane Challenge11:15 am - 11:30 am Closing CeremonyPlease note that all participants will be required to submit a signed waiver after registration. Registration will not be complete until a waiver has been submitted.
