Join Beam Camp for a free after-school pop up workshop full of skill-building and making cool stuff at The Reynolds Center TLC Studios!

Join Beam Camp for our first pop up workshop at the Reynolds Center TLC Studios! We will be sharing some Beam Camp fun and info while families join us and make mosaic materpieces. Come learn about Beam Camp, get to know more about TLC Studios and make something amazing!Every participant wil be invited to create a mosaic, and take it home. The process can be messy, so aprons and gloves will be provided. Participants will design their piece, use hot glue to attach it to their frame, grout between the pieces to lock them in, and finally using sponges and water, clean up the piece revealing the final product.

At Beam Camp, youth aged 9-17 and staff learn to make their ideas a reality. Through fine and manual arts, technology, and collaboration, Beam Campers cultivate hands-on skills while exploring innovative thinking, design, and the creative process. We have a fully equipped woodshop, metal shop, fabrication lab, and an arts and craft barn ready for ceramics, sewing, painting and more. Campers spend a good portion of their day in those shops and making their own self-designed projects known as Independent Work projects, while also collaborating to complete the Beam Camp Big Project: A large scale installation created at camp each summer.
